Pay per click internet marketing.

Pay per click
management. Boyd Lee (seo
since 1995)
This is intended as a general guide aimed
at business users. If you are having problems with pay per click
campaigns costing too much or
you'd like to find out more about another method of internet marketing
maybe you'll appreciate the search engine
optimisation article.
Pay per
click is a way of displaying an advert for a product or service
at the side or top of a search engine page when a search is performed
that matches the product. If the paid adverts have been set up well
you'll not be reading this article but if your returns are not what
they were you might be spending 20 to 30% more on wasted adverts.
Lets look
at at giving your site the best chance for a keyword search of eco holiday.
The search
engine returns a page it thinks
is relevant with advertisers and ordinary links (the free links you'd
always like!)
If you
have a good look at the pages that search engines return when you
search you'll be amazed at how many adverts are not at all relevant to
the person searching. Obviously someone is being paid to plan, write
and place these adverts all over the internet and it's no wonder that
pay per click adverts are ignored or accidently clicked on. This will
run your budget away.

Lets face it how relevant are these
advertisers below if you want an eco tour?

Whereas
these people have thought about it.

As you can see anyone can quickly get an advert in a search engine
and pay for customers to get to your site. But you've got to research
the right keywords and know that you are bidding on words that convert
visitors into some sort of action, like they filled a form or bought
something.
Stating the obvious.
With so many websites being produced that
are not capable of being naturally listed in
the search engines the competition for keywords is driving up the price
of pay per click advertising for website owners.
